A former assistant federal public defender, Alina forged a career in private practice representing businesses and individuals in a diverse range of disputes, including traditional civil and business litigation, complex civil litigation, public records litigation, civil rights litigation, cannabis litigation, and employment law. Alina also has extensive experiencing representing clients on appeal in the Nevada Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Alina uses her broad range of legal experiences and strong writing skills to represent any client creatively and effectively.
In her free time, Alina enjoys nerding out about birds, bragging about her daughter, doing yoga, and watching bad movies.

- Served as counsel to Nevada’s largest-circulation newspaper in public records litigation to obtain records pertaining to the investigation of an elected school board trustee accused of harassment.

- Served as counsel to Nevada’s largest-circulation newspaper in public records litigation to obtain records pertaining to the investigation of an elected school board trustee accused of harassment.
- Served as pro bono counsel for a transgender inmate challenging Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) policies limiting medical treatment for inmates with gender dysphoria. Negotiated settlement with NDOC which now ensures medical care for inmates with gender dysphoria consistent with national standards.
