Leslie Godfrey is Hone Law’s resident strategist, both in operations and in the courtroom. As Director of Litigation Operations, she builds the infrastructure that enables smooth, team-based litigation—developing everything from filing protocols to task planning systems. At the same time, Leslie steps in to lead cases, drafts high-stakes briefs, and guides client strategy when it matters most. Having led the development of Hone Law’s unique project management system, Leslie has made invaluable contributions leading the firm to being ranked by Chambers USA and recognized as a Tier 1 Commercial Litigation firm by Best Law Firms®.

Before joining Hone, Leslie was a BigLaw partner with extensive experience representing financial institutions, manufacturers, and commercial landlords in complex disputes. She has negotiated delicate restructuring cases, managed class-action scale litigation, and written briefs that changed the trajectory of cases. She brings that same discipline and ingenuity to her work improving firm operations—from vendor troubleshooting to mentoring support professionals.

Leslie doesn’t just think in frameworks—she builds them. And she doesn’t just map the course—she sails it. Literally. With 34,000 ocean miles logged on a two-person crew, she is no stranger to high stakes, unpredictable conditions, and the value of course correction. It’s no wonder she’s trusted with charting both case strategy and the systems that support it.
