Kate is an experienced and refined trial attorney with extensive federal jury trial experience gained while serving as an Assistant US Attorney and Federal Public Defender. She also has comprehensive experience representing clients in commercial and business litigation matters, including shareholder and partnership disputes, contract, corporate law, fraud, and trademark litigation.
Kate is well-versed in efficiently and effectively preparing trial strategy and communicating complex issues to juries, arbitrators, and judges. Her experience includes representation of clients in pre-litigation contexts, mediation and arbitration proceedings, and before state and federal courts and agencies. Kate’s professional experience in the courtroom is matched by her commitment to her community and the development of women. From her time as the President of Junior League of Las Vegas to her expansive mentoring and training volunteer hours, Kate has invested in improving her community and in bringing up the next generation of women leaders in Las Vegas.
