Desiree’s precision, organization, and steady behind-the-scenes support make her an essential part of every case she touches. As a Paralegal, she supports our legal team by preparing evidence for written submissions, depositions, and trials. She leads evidence location management and organization, oversees the firm’s case-filing structure in Relativity, and manages our other document-management tools.
Desiree plays a hands-on role in trial preparation. From building trial binders and organizing exhibits to tracking witness testimony and managing trial logistics. As a Docketing Clerk, she manages the intake of all incoming documents and calendars all related deadlines, keeping the litigation team informed every step of the way.
Desiree earned her Bachelor of Science in English Education from Missouri State University before beginning her career teaching secondary English. After the birth of her two children, she returned to school in 2021 to earn her Paralegal Certificate from American Public University, bringing her background in education directly into her legal work.
A military spouse of 15 years, Desiree has lived in five states and three years overseas in Italy, experiences that shaped her appreciation for service and attention to detail. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, staying active, and traveling with her family, and volunteers with the Animal Defense League of Texas and her local Parent-Teacher Association.
